With modern Phacoemulsification technique, the surgery takes just 15–20 minutes. Dr. Vineet has even set a record of performing 100 successful surgeries in a single day.
Cataract surgery is a daycare procedure — most patients go home the same day. In rare or complex cases, a stay of 1–2 days may be required.
Not at all. The surgery is performed under local anaesthesia (eye drops). You remain awake throughout the procedure but experience no pain whatsoever.
We offer four types of intraocular lenses — Monofocal, Multifocal, Toric, and EDOF (Extended Depth of Focus). Dr. Vineet will personally recommend the best lens for your lifestyle and vision needs.
